Private Company B, 4th Arkansas Infantry Born May 10, 1837 in Tishomingo County, Mississippi Died January 22, 1900 in Hickory, Indian Territory He married Nancy Ann Spurlock in 1867 in Tennessee and was living in Iona, Indian Territory in 1899. Nancy Ann died in 1898. His wife's name was Elizabeth, listed as Bettie in the 1880 census His name for this listing was taken from an article in The Ardmoreite listing a K.D. Choate as a Confederate soldier who attended the first Confederate reunion held in the Chickasaw Nation in 1899. This meeting was held in Sulphur. |
