Corporal Company A, Chickasaw Mounted Volunteers Born March 6, 1842 in Ohio Died May 5, 1928 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, north, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma In 1849 he went to Arkansas with his parents. In 1858, he came to Indian Territory, carrying the mail between Ft. Smith and Gainesville, Texas and he finally wound up in Wynnewood, I.T. in 1875 where he raised cattle and farmed. In 1921 he was living in Pauls Valley, at the age of 80, probably somewhere between Pauls Valley and Wynnewood He married Georgianna Kinney, of Alabama, on January 3 1876 |
