Buried at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and does not currently have a military headstone

His wife, Martha E. Griffin is also buried at Oaklawn.   She was born May 4, 1848 in Georgia and died May 2, 1909

The 1900 census shows they had a son, John H. Griffin, born July 1874 in Texas.  Her obituary shows him as living in New Mexico in 1909

There are other Griffins buried at Oaklawn who may be family members
