Private Company E, 19th Mississippi Infantry Born in 1842 in Mississippi Died ? James came to Indian Territory in 1894. He is listed on the 1910 census of the Wynnewood area. In 1913/1914 hs is living at Gerty in Hughes County and in 1915 he is in Custer County He made his living as a farmer In the 1910 census James lists his birthplace as England and states that he was a soldier in the Civil War so it is possible he was born in England rather than Mississippi? |
