Private Company G, 10th Arkansas Infantry Born Died Buried at Dibble, Oklahoma Matthew and Agnes Moss were married on September 21, 1865 at Rose Bud, White County, Arkansas In 1884, they were living in Bell County, Texas, then moved to Wapanukca, then Boggy Depot, and later to the Wynnewood area before moving to Maysville The military designation above is taken from the Confederate Roster. He enlisted July 18, 1861 at Springfield, Arkansas He signs as M.D. Lankford on several applications for the Cross of Honor. He is mentioned in a Wynnewood paper of September 3, 1903 While living in the Boggy Depot area he captured many outlaws Matthew was a minister |
