Charles married Martha Ann Atkins on April 30, 1870, in Hot Springs County, Arkansas

They moved to Indian Territory in 1897 living in Iona in 1905 before moving to Roff sometime before 1915

His name and unit for this listing are taken from the Chickasaw Souvenir.   He enlisted at Rockport, Arkansas on June 20, 1861.  His company was known as the "Hot Springs Hornets"

He was 69 on July 6, 1915 when he applied for his pension
