Born June 2, 1834 in Christian County, Kentucky 
Died June 16, 1923 in Wynnewood  
In the cemetery records, his death is listed as
"auto intoxication."  He was run over by a truck 

     He was called "Daddy Perkins" by the local citizens.

      He is buried in Oaklawn Cemetery in 
Wynnewood in Lot 1, Block 24 

     His wife, Saphronia,  joined the UDC on July 27, 1908, 
on record of her uncle.  She is buried beside him
