Private Company A, 7th Georgia Cavalry Born December 6,1845 in Georgia Died August 23, 1924 near Pernell, Oklahoma Resting at Sandy Bear Cemetery (Formerly Winters Cemetery) near Pernell, just over the Garvin County line into Stephens County Radford Perkins married Lizzie Lee in Cook County, Texas in 1889. They came to Indian Territory in 1890 or 1892 and are listed in the 1900 census for the Wynnewood area In 1915 they lived at Robberson, Oklahoma, near Pernell, where he died in 1924. He made his living as a carpenter He does have an OK CSA pension application on file, #1978, reel #6, under Rod Perkins |
