Private Company D, 36th Alabama Infantry Born in 1843 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Died September 18, 1925 in Addington, Oklahoma John came to Indian Territory in 1899. In 1905 he is listed as living in Ardmore. In 1910 he is in the Walker Township census and in 1915 he can be found living at or near Pauls Valley, north and east of Wynnewood In his pension application dated June 12, 1915 he lists himself as. In 1925 after his death his widow Mary J. applied for a pension. They were married in 1870 in Mississippi |
