William came to Indian Territory in 1889 and settled at Brady, west of Wynnewood, in 1915

William married Margaret C. Smithson on January 30, 1864 in DeKalb County, Tennessee

Margaret was born April 1, 1844 and passed March 27, 1926

His name was acquired for this list from an application made for the Cross of Honor.  He is mentioned in the area newspapers of 1903 and in the 1910 census he lists his birthplace as Georgia and his occupation as 'day laborer".  He lived west of Wynnewood in 1910
