Private Company I, 10th Texas Infantry Born October 16, 1835 in Giles County, Tennessee Died February 20, 1921 John Rose rests in Lewis Cemetery, northeast of Wynnewood, Oklahoma but does not currently have a military marker He was in Texas in 1862, where he enlisted at Galveston and came to Oklahoma in 1913. He was listed as living on Route 3 in 1918 when he applied for his pension John made his living as a farmer His wife was Sarah J. |
