Buried at Iona, east of Wynnewood, Oklahoma without a Confederate Marker

James married Lula Leona in Henderson County, Texas

They came to Indian Territory in 1894, moving to Iona, east of Wynnewood in 1905

James was a farmer

In some records he is listed as James J. Scroggins

There are two boys and one girl, all children of J.I. and L.L. Scroggins, who died in 1917, who are buried in Iona Cemetery.   Audy, born April 14, 1897, died  March 28, 1917, Pearl, born March 3, 1908, died April 15, 1917, and another son, born 1901, died 1917.  There is no stone for James I. Scroggins in the Iona Cemetery
