Private Company C, 14th Texas Infantry Born in 1833 in Tennessee Died April 21, 1906 in Wynnewood, I.T. of old age Buried in Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma Jacob and his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Gibson, moved to this area in 1891 from their home in Texas. They lived at the top of the hill just east of the Presbyterian Church which is now the Museum of Southern History They were married in Smith County, Texas. Margaret was born in Unionville, South Carolina in July 17, 1837. She passed January 14, 1925 Jacob was a brick mason and according to his granddaughter, Kathleen May, he did the brick work on the Crump house in 1896 or 1897 Jacob was a Baptist and his funeral was held at his home |
