Private Company C, Schrabel's Battalion Missouri Cavalry Born May 6, 1846 in Georgia Died December 16, 1923 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma John Willis Stacy is buried in Lewis Cemetery, northeast of Wynnewood, Oklahoma He came to Indian Territory in 1894 and married Rebecca Adelne on July 6, 1897 at McLoud, Oklahoma Territory They live north or northeast of Wynnewood where he farmed for a living and was living at this location at the time of his death One source lists his wife as Francis Elizabeth and shows them married at Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1864. The 1920 census show him as having a 37 year old son who was born in Arkansas and a 35 year old daughter born in Mississippi
