Private Company B, 13th Texas Cavalry
Died November 17, 1927 in Wynnewood John Calhoun Stribling died of senility(?) and kidney trouble and is buried at Oaklawn Cemetery, Lot 1, Block 55, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He does have a military headstone although it shows no dates and is in the shape of a shield He moved to Mississippi as a small boy, then to Crockett, Texas in 1859 and can be found in Coryell County, Texas in 1885 HannahTabitha Ellis was his wife. They were married in Texas. Their son, John Lee, was born January 5, 1885, in Coryell County, Texas His birthdate may be 1936 rather than 1937 as listed |
