Captain Company C, 10th Texas Infantry Born November 21, 1825 Died December 15, 1890 Buried at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, He lived in Sulphur Springs, Texas before coming to Indian Territory and settling in the Wynnewood are in 1887, where he owned and operated a general merchandise store, featuring dry goods, groceries and hardware His wife, Elizabeth, is buried beside him. She was born December 6, 1839 and passed on March 11, 1911 Sons John Emerson, 1864 - 1940, and David N., 1866 - 1945, are buried here also. There are several other Winbray burials here also that are probably grandchildren and their wives |
