The young lady on the back row under the window, I believe sixth from
the left is Annie
Merchant/Marchant. She is either the daughter of Robert B. Merchant or James
Marchant.
she is Buried in Elmore City Cemetery and her funeral record was Signed by R.B. Marchant.
She died of T.B. of the lungs. She is listed as a Daughter of Robert B.
Merchant/Marchant
and Mary Etta Bailey Carter Merchant/Marchant on the 1900 Garvin County Census.
Also I am unsure which children are the Dendy children but I believe there to be 2-3 of
them in this picture. 1905 Class Picture

This picture is my mothers school in Elmore City, Garvin County, OK. My mother is #30, Catherine Alexander, born 1921. Im guessing picture to be in range of early 1930s. She has written names on back.
