Selman, established 1920 became New Charleston. It was and was located 20 27N 21W; two miles South, seven and 1/2 miles East of Buffalo.
On 30 April, 1925, The Harper County Journal published a special six page section dedicated to the Fifth Anniversary of Selman. This special section is a work in progress. It will take a while to transcribe; portions of the text are illegible.
