Major C. E. "Lefty" BarnesA member of the General Staff corps, Major Barnes is now stationed somewhere in England. He received a commission as second lieutenant in the infantry reserve, following four years of R. O. T. C. at A. and M. College, Stillwater, where he graduated from College with a B. A. degree. He also attended the University of Oklahoma for two years. He was a partner in the law firm of Adams and Barnes at the time he entered the service April 21, 1940. He is 38 years of age. His wife, Mrs. Barnes and two children, Mary Jane and Jimmy reside at 703 E. Warner Ave. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Barnes, Stillwater. Courtesy of J. C. Penney Co. |
