Lt. Colby Monroe Springer

Immediately following graduation from the U. S. Naval Academy in December, 1941, Lieut. Springer was attached to the U. S. S. Montgomery, light minelayer in the Pacific Fleet.

He is now stationed at the Naval Air Base, Dallas, Texas, as flight instructor.

Graduated from Guthrie highschool in 1936 and entered the service in November of the same year.

His wife, Mrs. Alice Springer lives at Bristol, Va.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Springer, west of Guthrie.
