Pfc. Ferne E. Simpson

Enlisted in the Women's Army corps May 25, 1943, received basic training at Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., and is now stationed at the Medical Detachment of the Big Spring Bombardier school at Big Spring, Tex., where she is a clerk-typist in the dental clinic of the station hospital.

Pfc. Simpson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. south of Guthrie is 23 years of age and was graduated from Central State College, Edmond, where she was editor of the Vista, college newspaper during her senior year.
