Graydon L. Persing, A. M. M. 3-CPrior to his enlisting in the navy, November 30, 1942, he attended Civil Service School for airplane engine mechanics at Oklahoma City. He reported for duty at the U. S. Naval Air Station at Norman December 7, 1942 and is ranked as aviation machinist's mat third class. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Persing, reside at Coyle. He will be 19 on February 23. He attended Coyle schools and graduated from Perry highschool in 1941. He and his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Persing, are making their home in Norman. Courtesy of the Guthrie Register-News. |
