Joe Earl Hurley, S. 2-C

Attending gunners school at Great Lakes, Ill., the 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hurley, S. Pine St, entered the navy November 1, 1943.

Was graduated from Guthrie highschool and was employed at the Fire Station for a while before entering the service.
