Willard Lee Thompson, M. M. 1-C

Was captain of the Guthrie fire department before entering the service September 13, 1942.

Is stationed in the Bermuda Islands and recently spent a furlough at home with his wife, Mrs. Frances E. Thompson and children, Woodie Lee, 4, and Patrick, 3, 612 N. Broad St.

He is now a fire chief of the U. S. Naval Construction battalion fire department.

Was graduated from Guthrie highschool and is now 29 years of age.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Thompson, 208 1/2 E. Oklahoma Ave.
