EARNEST CROSS DIES |
Services for Earnest H. Cross, 86, longtime Guthrie resident will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Smith Memorial Chapel. Dr. John W. Dowdy of the First baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in Summit View cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home. |
Cross, whose home was at 321 N. 14th, died Monday evening in an Oklahoma City rest home. He was born in Howard, Kans., on Oct. 29, 1884 and has lived in Guthrie since 1914. He was a retired employee of the Oklahoma railway Co. He was a member of Albert Pike Lodge No. 162 AF&AM and the Guthrie Consistory. |
Survivors are three sons, Raymond Cross, Oklahoma City, Hobart Cross, Hines, Ore., and Merrill Cross, Denver, Colo., two sisters, Mrs. Leta Lynn and Mrs. Vera Bigghler, both of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. |
