| WATERS -- Patricia Ann [Patty] Waters, age 72, of Albuquerque passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at the family home surrounded by family and friends. Patty was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma and her parents Paul and Bonnie Cornwell of Tulsa, Oklahoma preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Bill Waters; Son W. Paul Waters, wife Wendy; grandson Brandon of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Son Steven A. Waters, wife Christie; grandson Quinn; granddaughter Tess of Palmdale, California. Patty attended Oklahoma State University and came to Albuquerque in 1958 with architect husband Bill Waters to start her life journey. She was a 50 year member of First Presbyterian Church, formerly Secretary to the Senior Pastor, member of the Church Foundation, active member of the Women's Auxiliary and Church Circle Bible Study Group. She worked in the counseling and administration office at El Dorado High School. She was an active member of PEO Chapter V, where she was President and Secretary, and other committees. Patty had a special place in her heart for her PEO sisters. She was a long time volunteer and supporter of the All Faiths Receiving Home. Patty inspired everyone with her faith, love and kindness. She found a special pleasure in helping others especially caring for cancer patients in the Reach for Recovery Group. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday July 8, at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church [I-25 & Martin Luther King Blvd.].
