A whole day was spoiled for Fred Hirzel and Harry Loy, Guthrie nimrods, because four little ducks did not come near enough to their blind on the Country club lake for a shot.
However the shots they did get netted results as a string of seven Canadian white front geese and six Bald Pate and Teal ducks were brought in as evidence.
The two hunters got three shots on into flock of geese as they flew by the blind and seven of them shot.
