Prayers of Mercy for E. If. "Doc" Andrews, GE, of 6I00 N
Western, will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Hahn-Cook, Street S./
Draper Funeral Home with Sealing of the Casket at 10:15 A.M.
Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will he at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elijah
Antiochian Orthodox Christian
Church with burial In Fairlawn Cemetery.
He died Saturday In Dallas alter suffering a heart attack.
Andrews, a native of Greer County, came to Oklahoma City
in 1922. He was a retired, self- employed grocer and a member of
St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church. He was
member of Knights of Pythias, receiving the "Pythinn of the
Year" award for 1970-71.
Survivors include its wire, Nabeeha, two sons,
Al. 1621 Westchester Drive and
Joe, 30325 Sunset Blvd.. annd two daughters, Mrs.
Jimmy Kouri, Wichita Palls, Tex.,
and, Mirs. 0. W. Johnson, 6230 Smith Blvd.Memorials may he

Nabeeha "Nevada" Andrews, Our beloved
mother fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 20, 1995. She was
born Aug. 15, 1910.
She was preceded in death by her
husband E.H. "Doc" Andrews. She followed in death her dear
sister, Najeeba "Nellie"
Shadid by exactly 3 weeks. Nevada was the last of 4 brothers
& 2 sisters. Her greatest sorrow was the death of her eldest
son, Al, Feb. 18, 1992.
Nevada is survived by 2 daughters &
their husbands, Thelma & Jimmy Kouri , Wichita Falls, Tx.,
Darlene & Corkey Johnson; one son & his wife, Joe & Jill
Andrews; 9 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren who adored her
and will miss her always. Our mother worked hard all her life.
She owned and operated Andrews Market, 63rd & N. Western, OKC,
until Feb. 1991. She loved people and was loved by them because
of the purity of her heart and the sweetness of her spirit. Our
mom never uttered an unkind word to anybody and was the most
gentle, peaceful person this world has ever known.
Prayer of Mercy service will be 7:30
p.m. Wed ., Aug. 23 and the funeral service will be Thurs., Aug.
24 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elijah Orthodox Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mike, Tony & Chip Kouri ,
David Andrews, Don Andrews & Jeff Johnson. Interment will be at
Fairlawn Cemetery, OKC. Memorials may be made to St. Elijah's
Flowers That Do Not Wither Fund, 2101 N.W. 16th St., OKC 73107.
No language can express the power, beauty, heroism and majesty
of our mother's love. It shrinks not where man cowers and grows
stronger where ma n faints, and over the wastes of worldly
fortune sends the radiance of quenchless fidelity like a star in
heaven. Mom, we'll miss you so deeply---Until we meet again
