Carroll, Francis D., passed from this world to be with his Heavenly Father on May 13. He was 75. He was born on July 21, 1920 in Larksville, Penn. He graduated from Larksville High School in 1938 and went to work as a civilian employee for the Air Force. He was also a WWII veteran, serving in the Army. Frank, as he was called by those who knew and loved him, worked at Olmestead Air Force Base in Middletown, Penn. before moving with his family to Okla. City in 1966, where he began working at Tinker Air Force Base. He retired in 1976 after 35 years of service to the government. Frank began working at Oklahoma Blood Institute in Blood Products Services in 1978. He retired from OBI in 1993 after 15 years. Frank received many awards, while working for both the government and OBI, for his dedication and meritorious service. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Betty. Also by his daughters, Kathleen Holmes, Jeannie Gardner, Judy Walz and their husbands; his sons, Frank and John and their wives; his sisters, Mary and Helene and his brother, Joe; 5 granddaughters, 4 grandsons; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was a loving and devoted husband and the best Dad 6 kids ever had. He took great pride in his family and their accomplishments as they were the center of his life. He will be missed by his loving family and all those who knew and loved him more than words can say. 

Visitation will be at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home on Thursday, May 16 beginning at noon with Rosary service at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Christ the King Catholic Church in Okla. City on Friday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. Interment is to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
