Elbert Dean Rites Today

Elbert William Dean of Choctaw died Sunday at Midwest City Hospital, he was 65.

Services will be at 1 pm Tuesday at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral  Home with burial in Choctaw cemetery.

Dean was born in Percy, Ark., and moved to Oklahoma City in 1974. He was employed by the Wright Construction Co. as a highway worker. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness church and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife Elisabeth; five sons, Wilson, Portland, OR, Tommy, Tulsa, Chester Smart and Bobby Joe Smart both of Cabot, Ark. and Wesley Smart, living in Arkansas; two daughters, Mrs.. Bertha Cribbs, Desare, Ark. and Mrs.. Margie Dickinson, Midwest City; three brothers, Clarence, Colterville, IL, Leroy Ward, Ark. and Oscar of Cabol; four sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Guess, Mrs. Georgia Horn an Mrs. Agnes Burnett, all of Cabot and Mrs. Jessie Black, Fayetteville, Ark. and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
