Mrs. David Farris, 74, NW 18, died Friday at LaHoma General Hospital. Services will be at 11am Monday at St. Elijah Antichian Orthodox Church with burial in Fairlawn Cemetery by Smith & Kernke Funeral Home.

Survivors include four daughters, Miss Alice Farris of the home, Mrs. Rose Shdeen, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Eli David, Wichita, kan.; and Mrs. Fred Nayfa, Sweetwater, Texas, and two sons, Joe and Jim, both of Oklahoma City, and a brother, Albert Thomas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Retired Merchant Claimed By Death

Short Illness is Fatal for David Farris

David Farris, 44 years old, NW 23, retired merchant, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He became ill Friday.

Farris moved here four years ago from Detroit, Mich. He was a Mason vice-president of the Syrian-American club here, and a member of St. Elijah church.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Shokrailah Shadid from the Guardian funeral home at 2 pm Thursday.

Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.

Farris is survived by his wife, two son, Joe and James Farris and four daughters, Rosa, s Alice, Josephine and Salena Farris, all of the home address and three brothers, Joe, John and M Farris, city and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Shadid, city and Mrs. Anna  Ruffin,Snyder.
