Bob Griffiths, a resident of Oklahoma City, was called home Monday, August 19, 1996. Our loving father, devoted husband, advisor, counselor and God-led businessman, will never be forgotten as he lived in our hearts.

Bob was born March 4, 1917 to John and Mary Griffiths in San Jon, New Mexico and graduated from high school there. He attended West Texas State College. He was a manufacturing representative who pioneered the furniture territory for Lazy-Boy, Riverside, Virtue, Bassett and Flanders Furniture Companies. Bob spent the last 25 years as president-owner of Guardian Warehouse. He was one of the founders of the Oklahoma Roadrunners. Bob was a lifetime member and deacon of Quail Springs Baptist Church, a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner of India Shrine Temple.

He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Peggy Griffiths, one year after their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

Bob is survived by their 3 children, Mary Runion, Linda Barnes and Bob Griffiths; grandchildren, Kelly Runion Clem, Kristie Runion, Ashley Barnes, Trent Barnes and two great grandsons.
