Peggy Cannon Griffiths, 70, born February 9, 1921, Cherokee County, Alabama. Went to be with her Heavenly Father, July 14, 1991, after an extended illness. Met and married Robert Glenn "Bob" Griffiths June 8, 1940, in Pampa, Texas. 

Peggy will be lovingly missed for her services to others, her zest for life and her true devotion to her family. She was very active and involved with her community and church for many years. Member of Quail Springs Baptist Church, serving for many years in the young people's department; the first President elect of the Roadrunners Ladies Auxiliary; charter member of the Northside YMCA; organized and developed the Charter of Phi Delta Theta's Mom's Club of Oklahoma State University; member of Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Bob, of the home; two daughters, Mary Runion and Linda Barnes; one son, Robert Evan "Bob", all of Okla. City; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, Quail Springs Baptist Church, with Reverend Charles Graves presiding, with burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery.
