Hays, Barbara Sue, 46 of Choctaw, passed away on Wed., March
7, 2001. She was born to Ramon & Bessie (Smith) Robinson on
April 15, 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK. She came to Choctaw in 1990
previously living in Dallas. Barbara worked as a computer
analyst. She enjoyed the outdoors by being involved with
gardening, camping, and fishing.
Barbara married Steven Hays on June 16, 1990 in Choctaw, OK
in which he survives her of the home. She is also survived by 2
sons: Joey Hays of Michigan, and Charley Potter, Jr. of Pocola,
OK; 3 daughters: Crystal Mack of Harrah, Racheal Hays of the
home, and Shirri Potter of Midwest City; 6 grandchildren:
Jarrod, Zac, Dylan, Katelyn, Austin, and Shelby, her mother,
Bessie Smith of OKC; 4 brothers: Johnny Robinson of Del City,
William Robinson of Haileyville, Junior Robinson of McAlester,
and Billy Robinson of OKC, 2 sisters: Linda Goodrum of Del City,
and Bert Gilbert of OKC. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sat.,
March 10, 2001 at the Barnes & Johnson F.H. Chapel with burial
at Elmwood
Cemetery in Choctaw.
