Jimmie Jack Kinney, 70, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2006 in Midwest City, OK where he had been a resident for 36 years. He was born in El Dorado, KS to Alvin and Lois (Jones) Kinney on September 17, 1936. Jimmie served in the Army National Guard.
Mr. Kinney is preceded in death by his parents, half-brothers: Max and Jack King, and sister: Lois DeMarie.
Jimmie is survived by his son: Jim Kinney and wife, Candi, of Midwest City; 3 daughters: Robin Herrin, of Choctaw, Tina Mohr and husband, David, of Choctaw, and Jo Sitts and husband Bobby, of Harrah; 2 sisters: Pat Hogoboom and husband, Bart, of El Dorado, KS; Jackie Chestnut and husband, Robert, of Barryington, KS; 4 grandchildren: Leonard Duvall, Melynda Pursell, Jessica Kinney, and Samantha Mohr; 2 great grandchildren: Shannon and Lindsay Pursell, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 1pm at
Elmwood Cemetery in
Choctaw, under the direction of Ford Funeral Service.
