KNOTT James Standley, age 43, of OKC, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 1992 at his home. He was born July 20, 1949 in OKC and had lived most of his life here. He graduated from N.W. Classen in 1967, and had attended OU. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in OKC, was on the board of Jewel Box Theater and was a director there. 

Survivors include his children, Bryan and Laura Knott-Hartpence, both of OKC; parents, Bob and Martha Knott of OKC; brother, Robert Knott of Beverly Hills, Calif.; sisters, Sandra Hakman of LaCanada, Ca. and Karen Austin of Atlanta, Ga.; nieces, Valerie, Julie and Angela and nephew, Michael. The family is most grateful to Baptist Health Care, and for the professionalism and compassion of Nancy, June, and especially David Cross. They also wish to thank James' many friends and the theater community for their love and support. Memorials may be made to RAIN, 924 N. Robinson, OKC 73102. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 21, at 11:00 a.m. in Central Presbyterian Church in OKC with burial in the Yukon Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Friends are welcome to attend the funeral service.
