Rev. A.E. Parsons, 69, went to meet his Heavenly Father
Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Art was born on October 20, 1938
to Rev. Maurice and Grace Parsons. He married Virginia Smith on
August 18, 1957. He was the Pastor of Harmony Hill Tabernacle in
OKC for over 40 years. He loved his congregation. He was
president of "Christ the Great Shepherd" Fellowship covering all
areas of Texas and OKC. He enjoyed singing and playing the
piano, organ and accordion. He was a great leader who always
knew the right words to say. He loved going to church and he
always kept God his top priority. Preceding Art in death were
his parents and his brother, Jimmy Parsons. He is survived by
his wife, Ginger of 50 years, 3 sons, Danny and wife Melinda of
OKC, David and wife Tammy of OKC, Rickey and wife Cheri of
Fairbanks, Alaska; 2 daughters, Diana Reynolds and husband
Michael of Choctaw , Tamara Richards and
husband Matt of Edmond; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be
held 11:00 am Monday, March 3, 2008, Candlewood Chapel, under
the direction of Ford Funeral Service. Burial will follow at
Elmwood Cemetery in
Choctaw .
