Nathan E. Pointer , 70 of Choctaw , passed away on Thursday,
May 6, 2004. He was born to Mosell & Lula (Barksdale) Pointer on
May 3, 1934 in Edwardsville, AL. Nathan was a heavy equipment
operator. He was an avid fisherman and loved his family dearly.
Nathan was a member of the Woods Baptist Church. He was a Korean
War veteran serving in the Air Force.
Nathan is survived by his wife Barbara; son Curt; 2
daughters, Kim Anderson and Kathy Dunn, 13 grandchildren, 3
great grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. He was preceded
in death by his daughter Natalie Shockley and great grandson
Chaz Logue.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, 5/8/2004 in
the Barnes & Johnson FH Chapel with burial at
Elmwood
