Mary J. Poirier , age 63, of Oklahoma City, Ok., formerly of Portage, In., passed away September 8, 1994. Born January 13, 1931, she was an executive secretary for Swift Foods in Oklahoma City, Ok. for 8 years in the 1950's. In 1961, she moved to Northwest Indiana to raise a family, later settling in Portage, In. in 1965. She returned to Oklahoma City, Ok. in November, 1990.

Preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph Tlapak . Survivors, one daughter, Diane (James) Larson of Cedar Lake, In.; one son, Joseph Poirier of Lafayette, In.; 2 brothers, James (Patricia) Tlapak of Plano, Tx., Thomas (Kathy) Tlapak of Oklahoma City, Ok.; 2 grandchildren, Brei and Jimmy Larson; and several nephews and nieces. Rosary 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Capitol Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wed. 9-14-94 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment Fairlawn Cemetery
