Charles Vincent Powell Jr., 31, of Oklahoma City, died Monday, Sept. 2, at Norman Regional Hospital. Services were Tuesday at Memorial Chapel Funeral Chapel in Noble with the Rev. Mike Garner officiating. Burial will be at Blackburn Cemetery in Norman.
Mr. Powell was born July 15, 1971, in Oklahoma City, to Charles and Rita Ann (Willingham) Powell Sr. He lived at the Cerebral Palsy Center for Adults in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed listening to country and western music, especially Elvis Presley, watching movies and visiting with family and friends.
Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his mother; maternal grandfather, Ernest Willingham; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Faye Powell.
Mr. Powell is survived by his father, of Oklahoma City; sisters, Donna Willmon, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Carla Powell of Moore; maternal grandparents, Leroy Louise Clinkenbeard of Norman; and many other family members.
