 Rita Ann (Willingham) Powell, 44, Norman, was born on October 10, 1948 to Ernest and Louise (Standridge) Willingham at Wasco, California. She died Saturday, March 13,1993 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Rita married Charles Powell on December 11, 1967 at Oklahoma City. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Rita was of Baptist faith. She devoted much of her volunteer work to assisting crippled children.

Rita is survived by her husband, Charles of Moore; her mother, Louise and step father, Leroy Clinkenbeard of Norman; a son, Charles Powell, Jr. of Del City; two daughters, Donna Larsen of Ogden, Utah, Carla Powell of Norman; a sister, Marilyn Hall of Norman; a stepsister, Pam Smith of Noble; a brother, Steve Clinkenbeard of Norman; three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Willingham in 1988.

Services were at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 17, 1993 ath the Primrose Funeral Home in Norman, Oklahoma. Reverand Greg Jones, Officiating. Music consisted of "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace". Pallbearers were: Don Conn, Floyd McCracken, Thilbert Rolston, Gene Smith, Darrell Standridge, and Daniel Wilkerson. Interment was in the Blackburn Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma.
