Pryor, Donald Joe, 66, passed from this life Nov. 25, 2000 at his home in Choctaw after a 6 month battle with lung cancer. Don was born to Hershel & Valley Crow Pryor of Stonewall, OK & was the first of 6 children. Don served in the Navy at age 17 aboard the USS McGinty during the Korean War & was honorably discharged. Don was an active member of his community & served as past president & member of the Choctaw Round Up Club, past member of the Kiwanis Club & participated in numerous local charities.
After retiring as owner of Solloway Auto Supply #2 of Nicoma Park 7 years ago, Don enjoyed ranching & farming in both Choctaw & Meeker areas.
Don is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marie; 3 children, JoAnn Tullis, Choctaw, Jim Pryor , Washington, OK, Donna Kutin, Newalla; 6 grandchildren, Debbie Natividad, Denice Tullis, Douglas Tullis, Mallory & Shelby Pryor & Ilana Kutin and 8 great-grandchildren. Don was truly loved & will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tues., Nov. 28, 2000 at
Choctaw Elmwood Cemetery by Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
