Mildred Ruth Pursell, age 75, from Midwest City, passed away December 31, 2006 in Midwest City. Mildred was born May 3, 1931 to Frank and Ruby Cryer in Madill, Oklahoma. She married Floyd Pursell on November 17, 1951. Mildred was always a fighter and a devoted mom to her children. She enjoyed working in the garden and being involved with her family activities.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Floyd Pursell. She leaves behind to cherish her memories 5 sons, Eddie and wife Debbie of Midwest City, Ronnie and wife Becky of McLoud, Larry and wife Judy of Midwest City, Terry and wife Debbie of Midwest City, and David and wife Diane of Midwest City; 3 daughters, Vicky and husband Brad Brand of Midwest City, Teresa Rowaichi of Midwest City, and Debbie and husband Brian Thurmond of Midwest City; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

A Graveside Service will be 10 am Thursday January 4, 2007 at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw under the direction of Hibbs Funeral Home.
