Lawrence S. Shahan (81), of Del City, went to be with his Lord on the 23rd of Oct. 2002. He was a resident of Del City for 35 years. Before his retirement in 1983, he operated his own sales route in the metropolitan area. He was affectionately known as Larry to his friends. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His past times included gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his pets and family. He was a member of the Douglas Boulevard United Methodist Church, MWC.

His survivors include his wife Lora V., son Sam Shahan and wife Cheryl, daughter Deena Palmer and husband Orville, eleven grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren. Services will be held at his church Saturday, Oct. 26th at 10:00 a.m., with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
