Paul R. Shirk, 4?, Washington, D.C., formerly of Oklahoma City and brother of former Oklahoma City, Mayor, George Shirk, died Wednesday at Walter Reed Memorial Hospital, Washington, DC.

Military burial will be Tuesday at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, DC.

Shirk was born in Oklahoma City and was a retired Army lieutenant colonel. He was a member of Phi Delt Theta and the Episcopal Church. He attended Oklahoma State University and received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; a son Michael of the home, a daughter Kristen, of the home, two brothers, George, 5201 Vernon Road and John, Glendora, Calif., and a sister, Lucyl Shirk, 5201 Vernon Road.

Lieut. Paul Shirk and Bride Plan Home in Europe

Following a trip to the Austrian Tyrol, Lieut. and Mrs. Paul Raymond Shirk will establish a home in Stuttgart, Noerhinger, Germany. They were married Saturday in Stuttgart.  The bride is the former Miss Anne Detzer, daughter of Mr.& Mrs. Stephen Detzer, Palos Verdes Estates, Los Angeles.
