Marjorie D. Standley born Feb. 4, 1911, died Sept. 22, 1991 in OKC. She spent a great part of her life on the stage as an actress and director, traveling with "The Standley Players" and "The Bybee Players" throughout the Midwest. She also performed with repertory companies in the East and locally with the "Mummers Theater." She lived several years in Colo. Springs where she started her own popular radio show, "Shopping with Marj." Many friends will remember her venture into the antique business located on N.W. 10 known as "The Ark."
She is survived by her sisters, Martha Knott of OKC and Eleanor West of Bonsall, Ca.; her brother, Johnny Standley of Van Nuys, Ca.; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in t he Yukon Cemetery in Yukon. No Visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Winds House of OKC.
