Wilson, William Allen (Bill) Wilson was born on January 6,
1939, in Oklahoma City to Julia Ball Wilson and W.A. Wilson. He
passed away on March 6, 2002, in Dallas, Texas. Bill graduated
Phi Kappa Theta from O.U. in 1964 with an M.B.A. in accounting,
and passed his C.P.A. in 1965. He was a partner with Moak,
Hunsaker, and Rouse, and later with Price Waterhouse. He was a
past president of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public
Accountants. Bill was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He has
been living in Dallas for the past 14 years, and traveling
between Colorado and Texas to run his businesses.
Bill was predeceased by his father, W.A. Wilson and nephew, Kyle
Wackerly.
He is survived by his mother, Julia
B. Pitzer of Oklahoma City; two sons, Scott Wilson of
Pennsylvania, and Jeff Wilson and wife Laura of Dallas; brother,
John Pitzer of Colorado; sister, Sue Wackerly and husband Jim of
Yukon; and nephew, Brian Wackerly of Oklahoma City.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 at First Lutheran
Church, 1300 North Robinson, in Oklahoma City, with burial at
Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to First Lutheran Church, organ restoration fund.
