Pitzer, Julia Ball passed from this earth to be with her Lord on Aug. 7, 2003. She had been hospitalized since June 26th after bypass surgery. Julia was born on Sept. 19, 1920, in OKC, to Roy H. and Anna Peace Ball. She was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1938.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents; sons Wm. A. "Bill" Wilson and John C. "Johnny" Pitzer; and grandson Kyle Wackerly

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sue and Jim Wackerly of Yukon; grandsons Brian Wackerly of St. Augustine, FL, Jeff and Laura Wilson of Dallas, and Scott Wilson of Missouri. She had one great grandson Charles Wilson of Dallas. She was blessed to have had many friends, but especially three for over 75 years, Marge Robertson, Sue Stillwell, and Glenda Highland. She also had extremely caring and helpful neighbors. Julia had attended Crossings Community Church for the past several years where she made numerous friends and was blessed by their ministry, but she said she remained a "Lutheran" in her heart. She had been a member of First Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Although she gave up a lot of independence after suffering strokes, she loved playing bridge, attending bible studies, the symphony and ballet, and working her crossword puzzles.

Julia was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law, and our lives are forever changed after being touched by her. "Those That live in the Lord never see each other for the last time.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at 1st Lutheran Church, 1300 N. Robinson, OKC, with Pastor Gerald Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 1st Lutheran Church.
