Luther David Brakefield, 62, a retired operating engineer, died Friday,
Feb. 17, 1989. Born October 15, 1926 in Choctaw, OK. He also lived in
Arizona then moved back to Oklahoma. He was a Shriner & a member of the
Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by 4 sons, David Brakefield of Yuma, AZ, Dan Brakefield
of Jones, Bud Brakefield of Yuma, AZ & Earl Brakefield , Flagstaff, AZ,
2 daughters, Fran Ethington of Casa Grande, AZ & Joan Purcell of
Flagstaff, AZ, 1 sister, Katy Nowotny of
OKC, 17 grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday at the Bill Eisenhour NE Chapel
with burial in Arlington
Cemetery.
