March 9. 2010Katharin E. Nowotny was born March 6, 1923 as
Katharin Elizabeth Brakefield. She left us on her 87th birthday March 6,
2010. She was born in Spencer, OK and spent most of her life in
Oklahoma. She loved her large family, even in her childhood, and it was
the most important aspect of her life. In the 50's, she trained to be a
nurse, and worked as one until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Lloyd C.
Nowotny, her parents: Earl and Alice Brakefield and a brother,
Luther Brakefield.
She is survived by two daughters, Ginger Pollock and Tracie Nowotny and one son, David Nowotny; five grandchildren, two great-grand
children and an extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was
an avid fisherman, and lived her last years near Lake Tenkiller,
enjoying the quiet area and fishing.
Services will be directed by Bill
Eisenhour N.E. Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at
Nicoma Park First Baptist Church with interment to follow at Arlington
Memory Gardens.

Lloyd C. Nowotny, 83, of Choctaw, OK, passed
away May 8, 2003 in Midwest City. He was born on March 11, 1920 in
Oklahoma City, OK to Benjamin Franklin Nowotny &
Hattie (Burnett) Nowotny.
Lloyd married Katharin Brakefield on July 3,
1941 in Ardmore, OK. He was a member of the Nicoma Park 1st Baptist
Church; a member of the American Legion of Midwest City, & he served in
the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, golfing & going to Falls Creek.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Katharin of the
home; 2 daughters: Ginger Pollock of Tulsa, OK, & Tracie Nowotny of
Plano, TX; 1 son: David Nowotny & wife: Diana of Tulsa OK, 1 sister:
Mary Bright & husband, Tommy of Paris, TN; 5 grandchildren: Jennifer,
Erryn, Timothy, Lara, Sarah & many other nieces & nephews & other family
members.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; 2
brothers: Benjamin & Eugene Nowotny .
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 12,
2003, at Nicoma Park First Baptist Church with interment at Arlington
